I visited this small restaurant since all the big ones in the neighborhood were full. It was a surprise! The local meat burger ("Cachena" burger) was delicious and the "alheira" was also very good. It's a good place to have some snacks or a light meal.

Loved it! One of the best we’ve eaten in Portugal. The hamburger had such a great combination of sweet, salty, and curry. I rarely eat beef, but I couldn’t resist this one. The salad was refreshing and chock-full of fresh ingredients! Outdoor seating also makes for a perfect meal. Recommend!

My wife and I ate here a few years ago and it left a lasting mark on us. Definitely one of the best hamburgers we have had ever. Anyway, I'm writing this review because we are planning on going back to eat here in a few weeks and can't wait! And getting excited madee realize I should give a review as a result. If you are in town and want an amazing burger you should definitely eat here.

The food was excellent. The hamburger was delicious and a nice combination with sautéed mushrooms, local ham and cheese. The burger was cooked perfectly. The wine was very good and went well with the meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. I highly recommend it

Pretty amazing local tavern! Great traditional burgers and french fries, with regional goodies as cheese or blueberry jam and very reasonable prices, around 15eur pp. Friendly staff, speaking several languages, location in village center with parking 200m and an amazing terrace for sunny days! Nice pitstop in Soajo.

The vegetarian burger was very good, with Sunnyside egg on top and a slice of goat cheese. The side potatoes where really good and in a large quantity. (and don't worry, if it gets cold during the mail they will happily reheat it for you) Overall, very nice and quiet place .

A few days in Soajo and every evening at that friendly taberna :) We love this place and good food we got. Try burger de cachena (unique combination of flavours) with rustic fries and you will not regret!
